When I was seven, I came back from visiting Mexico. I came to the U.S. on a bus with my brother and sister, and it was pretty scary because my mom wasn’t with us, nor my dad. I then got to California and was there for about a month with my aunts, then my mom and uncle got there. We headed back to Minnesota. We lived with Uncle for a couple of months until we were able to get our own place. My grandma lived in Chicago for about 20 or 30 years. A few months after we arrived, she decided to go back to Mexico with my grandpa. Seven years later, I turned 15, my aunt went to visit my grandma and brought back a necklace she had custom made with my name. It was three types of metal, gold, silver, and copper. This necklace is really special to me because it was given to me by my grandma and my mom, they’re really important in my life. My mom gave my older sister one when sheturned 15 too.
