We’re ½ way through senior year, our last year.
Senior year is a busy year. It’s that time where you start to make life decisions. It’s closer to the time where we have to face the real world.
Are you going to college? Work? Join the Army or Marines? How about moving out? What’s the next step to take?
And we can’t forget one of the most important questions of them all; Am I on track to graduate? We have all these different questions running through our heads.
Throughout high school you lose some friends and gain new ones. But look around you, soon you probably won’t see most of these people.
Soon we’ll be taking our last steps into these hallways, taking our last finals, taking our last steps in high school.
As we’re on our last steps into our high school year, here are some quotes from our senior class of 2017:
“People will stare, make it worth their while. So go beyond and succeed.” -Guadalupe Ocampo
“Never let someone say you won’t make it.” -Diana Pacheco Rubio
“The only thing standing between you and your goal is the story you keep telling yourself as to why you can’t achieve it.” -Christian Martinez
“ Who is to trust if trust is in who?” -Demetrius Lewis
“When we see beyond pain and find ourselves in others, we learn to love at the deepest level.“ -Jazmine Morales
“It’s been a great and memorable year, can’t wait to graduate but not at the same time.”- Antonio Morrow
